Copic Creations Challenge 43

http://copiccreations.wordpress.com/2011/02/01/challenge-no-43-were-cool-2/

I have a map with stamped images and when I don't have so much time I colour images which I can later use for making cards. This image comes out of my map and was one of my first attempts in colouring with Copic markers. I only had about 10 markers at that moment, so maybe the combinations look a bit weird, but the result is quite ok I think. Because this card looked to clean, I distressed all the edges.

My supplies:
DCWV The Whimsy Matstack
Anya stamp
Marianne Design Eline's Vintage ('Enjoy every moment' in Dutch)
ribbon from Action
Tim Holtz Tonic Paper Distresser
Copic markers: hair: E35-E57, skin: E51, dress: B00-B93, flowers: B00-B93-YG11

The Sugar Bowl Challenge 53

http://sugarbowlblog.blogspot.com/

I think this is my first entry in the Sugar Bowl challenge. I just had to ink my new stamp! I absolutely love this 'pillow talk', but it was quite difficult to colour it nicely. My first two attempts went completely wrong with the shadow on the dress. The third time, her hair was way to dark. The fourth time I was happy with the result, but the blue didn't match with the patterned paper I had chosen. So this is the fifth image that made it on my card :) I'm happy with the result and would like to hear your idea about it!

My supplies:
- Sugar Nellie 'Pillow Talk' stamp
- Marianne Design 'Eline's Vintage' sentiment stamp (it says "it's your birthday" in Dutch)
- Cricut Mini Monograms cartridge
- Basic Grey Wisteria patterned papers (leftovers from this layout)
- Flowers: don't remember where I bought these
- Copic markers: skin: E50-E51-E93; hair: E31-E33-E35-E37; dress: B60-B63; pillow: Y21-Y28-YG91

Creanijn Album Track III

Next step in the Creanijn Album Track: after choosing pictures and analysing the sketches, followed selecting papers. The base was always white cardstock, but the PP should match with the pictures. For each page we could choose papers from Vicky's shop (http://shop.creanijn.be/shop). I chose Scenic Route - Ashville PP for this layout. I'm still having doubts about this as the colours are very bright.

Baby card

A collegue of mine became grandfather last week. As his daughter did a student job with us a couple of years ago, we wanted to give her a little present, with a card of course. I've kept it quite simple, so this is the card for Ferre.
I've used a stamped image I once received in a swap. I must say I don't think I'll enter such a swap again. I received lovely images, such as this one, but also some mini images or even not good stamped images, while I tried hard not to disappoint the other swappers with my images. Another problem is that you don't know which paper or ink is used. I coloured this image with copic markers, but had little 'bleeding'problems. Luckily I could solve this with the 00 marker.

My supplies:

-stamped image from a swap
-cardstock
-patterned paper from DCWV The Garden Party
-copic ciao markers E50, BG09,BG34, Y21

Creanijn Album Track II

I started last week showing the result from the Creanijn Album Track I attended a while ago. Before the workshop we received a mail from Vicky (http://creanijn.blogspot.com/) with the number and the sizes of the pictures we needed. It was quite a work to go from 800 to 50 vacation photos and I even had little discussions with my mum (= my travel partner). On the day of the Album Track we received a handout with all the sketches, so everyone could work in their own tempo. I really liked this concept!

This page is about the village where we stayed. Not so much to see there so one page was enough to show the highlights. The PP is from Scenic Route - Rockland Clarendon Street.
