Bloemschikken

Two weeks ago I made this decoration with a pumpkin and flowers. I didn't have time to show it earlier, but now Halloween is getting closer I still find it a good time to show.
This will be my last flower decoration for a while, as my Zumba lessons are on the same day I and I can't go to both :(

Layout Crazy Summer

I'm probably not the fastest scrapbooker in the world, as I only finished my LO for Creanijn's Crazy Summer Contest last weekend :) . It's the first LO in my album about our vacation in Paris (may 2009). I have different rules for every album to keep all the LO's in the same style. This time I've choosen not to use a lot of patterned papers and to do all my journaling handwritten. This is also the reason why it kept me so long to finish this LO. I did the papers and pictures already in August, but to write the journaling directly on my LO scared me off. I've tried different pens and found a really nice and comfortable one last week. Although I used a different one on this LO

Supplies:
-cardstock,
-Chatterbox Designer Paper 'Woods Floral',
-EK Success Retroflower punch,
-Cricut Cartridges Mini Monograms (circles) and Opposites Attract (title),
-Colorbox Chalk Deep Green
-Prima Marketing Corner Stamp One
- Stabilo Point 88

Some finished layouts

I had some layouts in my Madeira album that needed a finishing touch. So I created a title with my Cricut.

http://holleybarnhartsblog.blogspot.com/2009/10/its-blog-candy-time.html (This prize is awarded at the 222nd project posting)

Blogger doesn't want to upload pictures at this moment (I'll fix it later), but I already want to tell you Holley is giving away a brand new Cricut cartridge, called Joys of the Season.

Just Christmas and Birthday Cards Challenge #46

I made this card already last week, and only had to glue things together today. I used one of my new Magnolia stamps and it's one of my first attempts to colour with aquarel pencils.

WCMD: Tracy's challenge

http://durcandesigns.typepad.com/stamping/2009/10/odd-bird-planet-challenge.html

I finished this card just in time. Tracy challenged us to make a card with her two favorite embellishments: ribbon and buttons.

WCMD: Teresa's challenge

Suddenly I found the inspiration for Teresa's challenge: you need something pink and something dotty on your card. So I made this baby card with pink dotted paper and ribbon (maybe not good to see on the photo)
My supplies: Justjohanna stamp, Stampin'Up paper (candy from Jana ), patterned paper (candy from Aimee , aquarel pencils, ribbon (candy from Steph )

WCMD: Karrie's challenge

http://stampgirl.typepad.com/burnin_rubber/2009/10/happy-world-card-making-day-peeps.html

I must say I don't really feel in a creative mood on this WCMD. This is my first card today. I made this one for Karrie's challenge, which sounded 'Create a card with at least THREE circles on it'. Well, I have one big circle and three little ones, decorated with a flower. I coloured the stamped image with Distress ink. I'm only started this technique, so I still need some practicing.

My supplies: Justjohanna stamp, patterned paper (candy from Aimee ), Distress Ink Fired Brick, Scattered Straw, Antique Linen, Tea Dye

World Cardmaking Day!

http://www.worldcardmakingday.com/

Two years ago I made my first card on World Cardmaking Day! I never actually send it to anyone, as it was quite simple. But I've learned a lot since then and I'm looking forward 'till Saturday and I hope I'll have a productive weekend!
