Een achtergrond met Dylusions Sprays die niet helemaal geslaagd was, heb ik dan maar aangepast naar een vierkante kaart.  In de achtergrond een Artemio stempel geëmbost en vooraan opnieuw m'n Stampotique monstertje.

A simple christmas card today with a snowflake stamp from Artemio and of course my favorite stips stamp from Hampton Art Stamps. This time I've used Color Box inks: Fresh Green, Ochre, Aqua and Scarlet.  The sentiment is from Marianne Design and although I've used a stamp positioner it doesn't look perfectly straight :(

Because I couldn't get the original idea of this card right, it turned out different, but I like the result.  I've stamped the star from Artemio with distress inks: broken china, ice spruce and barn door.  The sentiment stamp is from Hero Arts.  Their set 'Holiday Sayings', which I won some years back on Kat's blog,  is really great for this challenge.

Challenge on stamping group

Every two weeks there's a challenge on our stamping group. As I'm such a slow crafter, I sometimes start with a challenge, but then my ideas get blocked and most of the time I don't finish it in time. But I plan to do better this year!
The first challenge is to use something old and something new on your card, atc, etc. The background is the old part of my card. I made it a couple of months ago and it's lying in my box since then. The stamp I embossed in gold is my newest stamp :) It's not a new design, but I only bought it last week.
My supplies: the girl is from Paper Artsy (US-Yule Tide Plate 1), the new stamp is from Artemio-Magenta and on the background I used stamps from Marianne Design and Hero Arts.

I created the background with Distress inks and then used this angel stamp I bought a couple of years ago on sale, but I never inked it before.

My supplies:
- Magenta stamp: angel
- Artemio stamp: star
- Distress Ink: Fired Brick, Scattered Straw
- Brilliance Ink Galaxy Gold (candy from Suzette )
- Stazon Jet Black

Embee's challenge sounds "Do It Again And Again. It will focus on repetitive stamped backgrounds and borders".

Worldwide Stamping Week

Yesterday was the last day of the Worldwide Stamping Week organised on 2peas. I had a lot of fun with the challenges and created a lot of cards. Because I wanted to have a line in the cards I made for WSW I used the same size for all of them (10,5x10,5cm). I don't like all of them, but I tried a lot of new techniques, used new stamps and enjoyed myself this week.
