Stampin for the Weekend Challenge 8: Masking

Masking is a technique I normally wouldn't do, but that's why I like challenge blogs so much: they make you do new things. I had to redo my stamping 3 times before I was happy with the result and thought I'd keep the rest of the card simple.
My supplies: Basic Grey papers, Inkadinkado stamp (sentiment), High Hopes Scotsman and Scottish dog (candy from Sophia )

Just Magnolia Week 14- Buttons

http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/2009/07/week-14-buttons.html

Buttons are not something I usually use 'cause I'm always afraid to put to many embellishments on my card, so I 'll ruin it completely. But maybe I should try to use more brads, flowers, buttons, etc. 'cause I do have a large collection of them. This challenge was a good start!

My supplies: patterned papers (candy from Aimee ), Magnolia stamp (candy from Sophia , October Afternoon stamp (sentiment), American Crafts Elements hand-dyed buttons

WOJ Challenge #39: Piercing

http://wojmondaychallenge.blogspot.com/2009/07/challenge-39.html

This week's challenge is piercing. Not something I usually do on my cards, but I'm happy with how it turned out. I pierced all the layers, but it's not really visible on the patterned paper.

New scraproom

Voila, here is the result of my redecorated scrap/bedroom. It's only a small room, so I had not a lot of possibilities, but I succeeded in making my working area bigger. Not everthing is finished yet, I still need new lights and a nice picture to put on the wall. But these are small thing with no hurry!

I received some gorgeous candy!

In my redecorating period I received two gorgeous packages of candy. Thanks a lot to Solbjorg and Suzette for these beautiful supplies!
