Corfu: Halikiopoulos lagune

This is only the left part of a layout. The other half still needs journaling, but as it's a different subject you can also see them seperately. I created this for a challenge to use 4 torn edges on your layout. I finished it when the deadline had passed, but the main thing is I really like this page very much! I've used a Becky Fleck sketch from April 2006.

My supplies:
- cardstock
- patterned paper: My Mind's Eye - Magnolia- Serene "Dream" Floral/teal
- George and Basic Shapes Cricut cartridge
- Stabilo point 88

Layout Corfu

This layout is laying on my desk for weeks now. I handcut the title and underestimated the number and small size on the left page. It's a simple layout, 'cause the subject isn't the most interesting of my album. The patterned paper is from Fancy Pants. The sketches of both pages are from Becky Fleck (left: febr 2006; right: may 2007)

It was difficult to find the right colours for these picture but I think this patterned paper from Kelly Panacci and coordinating cardstock, work really well.

A layout about the interior of the Achilleion palace.
I used some cheap chipboard (Kruidvat) for the title and painted it in a matching colour.

Another layout that needed some finishing. Maybe I will still add some embellishments 'cause I think something is still missing. I also think I did the journaling to low, but others may not notice (I hope).

I'm quite satisfied with this one.

Een simpele dubbele layout met papier van Kelly Panacci. Ik weet dat de titel op de rechterpagina niet goed uitkomt, maar dat is niet zo erg aangezien het een van de minst interessante onderwerpen van m'n album is.

I've already made this layout in December, but because my computer had crashed at that time, I'm showing it now. I also have 2 other layout almost finished, but still have to cut out the title. I really need an electronic cutting machine, but they cost so much and I wouldn't even know which one I'd have to choose(cricut, slice, silhouette?). So you'll still have to wait a little bit longer for my handcut letters.

Eindelijk gescrapt!

Op het einde van mijn lang weekend toch nog een layout afgewerkt voor m'n Corfu album.

Eindelijk nog eens een layout!

Eindelijk ben ik er nog eens in geslaagd een layout voor m'n vakantiealbum van Corfu af te werken. Ik heb het redelijk simpel gehouden met enkel een swirl op beide pagina's. Ik denk dat het nu nog wel een paar maanden zal duren voor ik me nog eens aan zo'n handgeknipte swirl zal wagen, hoor!

Eindelijk nog eens gescrapt! Met dank aan Daphné (http://dafkapin.blogspot.com/) want door al haar reislayouts te zien, kreeg ik er zelf ook weer zin in. Aangezien ik binnen 3 weken naar Kos vertrek, werd het dringend tijd om aan de vorige vakantie te beginnen scrappen. Dit is dus de eerste layout voor m'n Corfu-album. (Eigenlijk was ik aan een andere begonnen, maar ik had niet de juiste kleur cardstock om die af te werken, die volgt later dus nog wel.)
