Teresa's theme is 'colours of the earth'. I've used green-brown patterned paper from Scenic Route and this gorgeous stamp from Crafty Individuals. Since I don't know for which purpose I'll use this card, I haven't put a text on it yet.

I've finished a 4th challenge. This one's from Heather: using security envelopes. Luckily I found some envelopes from the bank in my bin. The envelopes are light blue and I've stamped red flowers (hero arts) on them. The 'happy birthday' stamp is from Heidi Swapp.

Catherine challenged us to 'use something from nature when making your card'.

So I went to look into our garden. I know it's not original to use a twig, but I couldn't find a lot of dry things that were useable. The birdstamp I used is from a budget shop and I must say it took me several times before the image was nicely stamped. I'm not so happy with the quality, but it only costed me 1,25€. The music elements and the text are handwritten.

I didn't plan on doing this, but then I thought on my vacation pictures of Madeira.

This is also called the flower isle, but because it's isolated in the ocean there aren't a lot of animals. So I thought I'd change this, with this result. I had so much fun with this challenge.(stamps: butterflies from Pipoos, sun from Stamps Antwerpen and owl from Justjohanna)

Eindelijk is mijn eerste kaart voor deze Earth Day afgeraakt. Voor Godelieve moesten we een kaart maken rond zonne-energie, wind- of waterkracht.

Met mijn beperkte collectie stempels was het zoeken naar een die hiervoor kon dienen en ik vond nog een ongebruikte, simpele zeilboot. Mijn inspiratie wilde niet echt komen, maar na enkele uren denk- en knutselwerk is dit het resultaat. Ik heb ook voor het eerst in 3D gewerkt.

communie kaartje (scraplift)

Omdat er in de familie en bij kenissen enkele communikanten zijn dit jaar, kocht ik vorige week bij Wendy ook een stempel voor deze gelegenheid. Deze namiddag ging ik ermee aan de slag. Ik heb een kaart van Caz gescraplift (http://aloadofoldblogocks.blogspot.com/2008/02/todays-offering.html).

Nieuwe Magnoliastempel!

Vorige week ben ik nog eens langsgeweest bij Wendy's winkeltje (http://www.wendysbearsandcrafts.com/). Ik had al lang mijn zinnen gezet op de stempel van Tilda met een kerstkrans, dus die heb ik zeker meegebracht, verder nog wat papier, bloemetjes, edge scraper, etc.

Ik was 's avonds direct aan een kaart begonnen, maar het vlotte niet zoals ik wilde. Vandaar dat ik ze maar liet liggen en vandaag pas heb afgewerkt.
