Little gift

Kerstkaart uit Cards Only!

Vorige week kocht ik de laatste editie van het tijdschrift Cards Only. Ik vond het nog beter dan anders met superveel mooie kerstkaarten. Deze heb ik dan ook bijna volledig gelift van Alma (p.78)

Scrapbook shoppen in Nederland

Vandaag ben ik gaan scrapbookshoppen in Nederland. We begonnen met Tessa Tegendraads (http://www.tessategendraads.nl/). Het was m'n eerste keer in deze leuke winkel en meteen ook m'n laatste keer want Tessa stopt er mee en houdt leegverkoop. Alle artikelen worden met minstens 30% korting verkocht. Er was al veel weg (bijna geen cardstock meer en ook voor distress inkt was ik te laat), maar toch nog toffe koopjes gedaan!

Op de terugweg zijn we nog gestopt bij Hobbidee (http://www.hobbidee-breda.nl/) in Breda. Ook m'n eerste bezoekje daar en ik ben heel blij deze winkel te hebben ontdekt! Zoveel leuke dingen (wat een papier- en stempelcollectie!) , ik kon m'n ogen bijna niet geloven. Dit maakte de keuze natuurlijk niet gemakkelijk, maar aangezien ik gisteren een auto heb gekocht, moest ik toch wat op m'n budget letten. Hieronder zie je m'n aankopen (2 plastic mapjes om papier in te bewaren staan niet op de foto)

Eindelijk nog eens een layout!

Eindelijk ben ik er nog eens in geslaagd een layout voor m'n vakantiealbum van Corfu af te werken. Ik heb het redelijk simpel gehouden met enkel een swirl op beide pagina's. Ik denk dat het nu nog wel een paar maanden zal duren voor ik me nog eens aan zo'n handgeknipte swirl zal wagen, hoor!

Verjaardagskaart

Mijn oudste zus verjaart morgen, dus heb ik een kaartje voor haar gemaakt. Op dit moment heb ik eerder een scrapbookperiode, alhoewel zich dat (jammergenoeg) niet echt uit in een heleboel afgewerkte layouts. Ik ben er met verschillende bezig en hoop er tegen het weekend toch eentje te kunnen tonen. Maar eerst dus dit verjaardagkaartje. Ik had niet zo veel inspiratie dus is het simpel gebleven.

Verjaardagskaart

Gisteren verjaarde mijn jongste zus, en ik heb voor het eerst een gestempelde kaart voor haar gemaakt. Ik heb het idee gescraplift, maar ik weet niet meer waar ik het origineel gezien hebt. Dus als iemand het weet, wil je me de link dan doorgeven zodat ik hem er bij kan zetten.

Stempel2daagse

Op 18 en 19 oktober organiseerde Linda (http://lindadegucht.blogspot.com/) een stempel2daagse. Ik heb op die 2 dagen super veel geleerd, maar eerlijk gezegd niet zoveel afgewerkt. Hieronder zie je 2 kaarten en later zal ik ook nog mijn kalender tonen, maar daar moeten nog de finishing touches aan gebeuren.

De eerste kaart is een distresste kerstkaart gemaakt in een workshop van Bruno (http://www.in2hobby.be/). Het tweede voorbeeld is mijn eerste poging tot grungy-stijl met ecoline. Deze workshop werd gegeven door Ilse (http://www.bloggen.be/ilse/) Ik kijk al uit naar de tweede editie op 21 en 22 maart 2009.

bloemschikles

Sinds een jaar of 2-3 volg ik af en toe eens een bloemschikles. Afgelopen maandag was het weer zo ver. We maakten deze keer een grafstuk.
Mijn eerste lessen gingen nogal moeizaam, ik zat dan ook in een klas met doorwinterde bloemschikkers met 10-tallen jaren ervaring. Ik kende al die technieken nog niet en werkte heel traag zodat ik meestal nog maar halfweg zat als de anderen al vertrokken. Over mijn resultaat was ik ook nooit 100% tevreden. Maar deze avond was het voor de eerste keer anders. Ik was goed op tijd klaar en mijn bloemstuk mag er best zijn (al zeg ik het zelf).

WCMD: Watcha doin' cupcake?

So it was the perfect occasion to use this stamp for the first time, although I already have it several months.

Kos

Baby kaart

My best friend is 37 weeks pregnant, so it's about time to make a card. I don't know if it'll be a boy or a girl, so I'll make one for both. My guess is that it'll be a boy, so I started with this one. I scraplifted a card from Inge (http://magnoliacreations.blogspot.com/2008/04/sweet-baby.html) and used beautiful SEI papers and a Magnolia stamp obviously.

breakfast-diner layout

Eindelijk nog eens gescrapt! Met dank aan Daphné (http://dafkapin.blogspot.com/) want door al haar reislayouts te zien, kreeg ik er zelf ook weer zin in. Aangezien ik binnen 3 weken naar Kos vertrek, werd het dringend tijd om aan de vorige vakantie te beginnen scrappen. Dit is dus de eerste layout voor m'n Corfu-album. (Eigenlijk was ik aan een andere begonnen, maar ik had niet de juiste kleur cardstock om die af te werken, die volgt later dus nog wel.)

Tag You're It: Christmas in August
