Willy Deville

I couldn't believe it when I heard the news yesterday: Willy Deville passed away. I knew he was sick but hoped he would recover and tour again next year. I got to knew his music because my mother is a huge fan. And I must admit he was a genius musician and he definitely was my favorite performer ever. The last time I saw him was two years ago in Ghent. It was a terrific performance and we still talk about it (I found this picture from then on the internet). I'm really sad that this will never happen again. I'll just have the cd's to listen to in the future.

Simon Says Challenge: distressing

I used my edge scraper on every layer to get a distressed effect. I also inked everything, but this ended up a little bit darker than I wanted.

Shopping and candy

This week I went to the shop during my midday break because I needed 3 buttons to put on a card. And guess what I came home with ...484 buttons! There was a huge sale in the shop and this lot only costed me 5 euro.

I also received a gorgeous package from Carla as I won her blog candy some time ago. I can't wait to use this beautiful stamps!
